Just5Days is a five day service experience
for teams of middle schoolers and adults.
The goal is to encourage middle schooler
to grow in discipleship with Jesus by
connecting their volunteer service work
with the teachings and prayers of the
Catholic faith.
We will leave on Monday, June 22 around 11 am. We arrive back at St. Pius between 4 & 5 PM Friday, June 26.
Cost: Total $330 per person. This cost includes registration, gas, supplies, most meals, housing and other misc. items.
Deadline to register is March 1, 2020!
I have limited spots for this year and they will go fast. Please submit your $50 deposit as soon as possible if you would like to reserve a spot.
Chaperones: If you would like to participate as a chaperone, please let me know. We need 2 men and 1 woman over 21 to atend!
We will be staying at the Catholic Community of Pax Christi.
Some of the work sites in the past have been with a homeless teen center, food bank, and thrift stores, worked at a church who ran a summer reading program, and working with disabled adults. Each evening is planed with different activities: Catholic Social teaching, prayer, games & activities. Meals will be provided by the organization other than lunch on Monday & Friday when we are traveling. Each morning the kids will make a lunch to take with them on the work site. Breakfast, snacks and dinner will be at the location where we are staying.
