St. Pius X Catholic Church has many opportunities for our members to participate in the prayer life of the Church.
Marian Cenacle - Anyone is welcome to come and participate whenever you wish. You do not have to make a commitment to attend every week. Meet in the Queen of Peace Adoration Chapel each Monday night at 7 pm. Pray the rosary, pray for the intentions of the Holy Father, read a short reading from the book "The Marian Movement of Priests" followed by a five minute silent meditation, Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and finish with a time for personal prayer intentions. Contact: Chris Janssen 979-7813.
Perpetual Adoration - You are invited to commit to one hour a week to quiet prayer and worship of the Risen Lord in the Eucharist in the Queen of Peace Adoration Chapel. Signing up for a weekly Holy Hour gives participant's the opportunity to honor the Lord's request and place ourselves before Him, "growing in his likeness from one degree of glory to another" - 2 Cor. You may also sign up to be a substitute adorer when regular adorers are unable to fulfill their commitment. Contact: Pat Vinson 278-4471
Prayer Tree - Jesus asked us to pray and it is a powerful comfort and blessing to those in need of our prayers. Sign up to be a prayer warrior and receive prayer requests via email and then offer those requests up to the Lord. Prayer is all that is asked of you in this important ministry. Prayer intentions may be submitted on this website on the home page or here. Please indicate in your email prayer request if you would like it to be anonymous. Contact: Gayle Schreck 276-8438
